ANSI/NGA R1.1-2007, Repair of Laminated Automotive Glass Standard (ROLAGS), is a joint work product of the National Glass Association (NGA), an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited standards developer, and the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA).
The goal of ROLAGS is to provide a nationally recognized standard to aid in the decision to repair or replace damaged laminated auto glass; to assist the public understand what is achieved through windshield repair; to encourage technicians to follow the industry's best practices; and to codify a consensus statement of the industry's best practices.Go to "Repair of Laminated Automotive Glass Standard" on the side menu to download a current copy of ANSI/NGA R1.1-2007.
The standard is in the process of being reviewed by the Standard Developing Committee (SDC). The SDC has approved some suggeted changes that are out for public comment. Go to the "Public Comment Notice" on the side menu to download a Draft version of ROLAGS containing suggested revisions that have been voted on by the SDC.
